About Me
Hello!
My name is Nadia Yanulevich and I live in New York. After giving some consideration to anonymity, I decided to go against it and just be me, openly and honestly. I write from the heart and the most vital point of this blog is to share the joy and happiness that I have found in my own life with anyone who comes across my articles. It is not a happiness project but a very personal and sincere account of my often turbulent and trying journey toward inner peace and self-discovery.
I have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and a career as an application developer which takes care of the part of me that needs to be the logical and organized. My other side, however, is spiritual and creative. It cannot flourish with logic and science alone. It demands exploration into the mystical and the unknown, reaching out toward creativity as means of self-expression through writing and art.
I have been practicing Buddhism for eight years and find its philosophy to be beautiful and liberating. It is the foundation of my spirituality, but I am a free spirit, belonging to no religious organizations or establishments and seeking my own truth. I don't claim to know it all, but I do know that we are all one people and that our true state of being is of peace and love. I work on raising my awareness by going through life's challenging opportunities with conscious self reflection and I write to encourage others to do the same.
